- Management of thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) facilities.
- Isotope geology, geochemistry, geochronology, tectonics.
Specific Areas of Interest
- Applications of geochronologic and geochemical techniques to tectonic problems in both continental and oceanic environments. Current projects include an investigation of the tectonomagmatic history of the Southeast Coastal Plain basement and Grenville-age terranes of the Southeastern United States, and studies of the evolution of the Wyoming craton.
