Research:

Dr. David Foster and his research team study the tectonic and magmatic development of the Earth’s crust using temperature sensitive isotopic dating techniques (thermochronology), structural geology, and petrology.

Additionally, Dr. Foster’s research focuses on enhanced weathering of basaltic igneous rocks to improve agricultural and rangeland soils and remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
