Donate

Your generous donations to the Department of Geological Sciences support the unique Earth science educational experience provided at the University of Florida.  Gifts to the Department may be directed to the Geology Department Fund (000799), or to the Geology Department 50th Anniversary Endowment (see below).   If you are looking for a specific area to support, the Department is currently seeking funds to purchase modern geophysical equipment to establish a new field course in geophysics, and to renovate the undergraduate teaching lab used for introductory courses in Earth science.  For more information about these initiatives or information about contributing to student scholarships and fellowships contact the Department Chair, David Foster.

Does your employer sponsor a matching gifts program?

Many employers offer a matching gifts program where the employer will match your donation or multiply your donation. For example, your $1000 donation to the Outcrop of Honor could become $3000 with your employers sponsored contribution. Follow the link to check if your employer sponsors matching gifts at UF.

If you are interested in other opportunities to support the Department such as endowing an award, professorship or facility please contact the Chair of the Department Dr. David Foster.
