Hydrogeochemistry Laboratory

The Hydrogeochemistry Lab is a fully equipped lab that is available for analysis of surface and groundwater chemistry that includes:

  • Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system
  • Seal Analytics AA3 Autoanalyzer
  • Agilent 7820A gas chromatograph
  • Hitachi F-7000 Fluorescence spectrometer
  • Shimadzu UV-1800 spectrometer

*If the number of samples is greater than number of standards and check standard, there is no charge for standardization. If the number of samples is less than standards and check standards, the charges will be based on half of the number of injections.

** Rates assume that the analyses will be performed by the UF affiliated person. If analyses are done by personnel in the Hydrogeochemistry Laboratory, charges will be at the External Academic rate.

Additional equipment that may be available for use includes numerous field sampling devices, 222Rn field analyzers, data logging equipment, and field vehicles. Please contact Dr. Jonathan Martin about rental charges if you have a need to use any of this equipment.
