Chrissi Harding graduated from the University of Florida’s Department of Geological Sciences in 2000. After graduation, she embarked on her career as a field geologist in Tampa Florida. After several years, she began to focus on the field of environmental geology. With this focus she quickly established herself a technically strong, and effective, communicator who fosters trust and confidence among clients, stakeholders, on-site staff, senior management, and key decision-makers.
In 2013, Chrissi moved west to Golden, Colorado, where she joined GHD, a global professional services firm. Today she calls Tampa home, again, and manages remediation teams in the Mid-Continent and West regions of the US. With over 20 years’ of experience in the industry, she has been able to grow into executive leadership roles while maintaining a strong connection to the people who work for her along with the technical aspects of the complex environmental remediation projects that they work on across the US.
Never forgetting her roots, Chrissi is a passionate recruiter of graduates entering the work force for the first time and an avid supporter of professionals re-entering the work force after time away. She volunteers and mentors both inside her organization and outside her organization while finding time to judge science fairs and mentoring girls and young women who are interested in exploring careers in STEM.
