Can You Dig It?

Join us for a fun, educational family event! Sponsored by the Department of Geological Sciences in collaboration with the Gainesville Gem and Mineral Society, Can You Dig It? is a free, annual event for anyone who is curious about the world we live in.This is a free family-friendly event with a variety of interactive Earth science exhibits from volcanic eruptions to the coolest sandbox you have ever played with. Bring your family and friends to the Florida Museum of Natural History on the University of Florida campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
