Tuition and Fees

UF’s Geological Sciences certificate program offers competitive tuition for all students. Please note that the online program’s* tuition is slightly different than the in-person program.  

Tuition costs are based on 2023-2024 tuition costs and exclude all fees. Tuition is subject to change between academic years. Estimated fees are subject to change between academic years. More information on tuition and fees is available on the Bursar Office’s website.

* State of Florida Residents are exempt from the Non-Resident Fee, and the Non-Resident Student Financial Aid fee; Certificate students in the 100% Online Format are not charged the Activity and Service Fee, Athletic Fee, Health Fee, or Transportation Fee and are not able to access these services.

Paying Your Tuition 

Tuition and fees are due each term by the posted Fee Payment deadline. Failure to pay in full by the established deadline may result in additional fees, holds, and/or removal from courses. 

The University of Florida offers several methods to pay your tuition and fees, including online options. 

To make a payment by electronic check (e-check), credit/debit card or international payment via Convera, log into ONE.UF, select “View My Account” under the Campus Finances (Bursar) section, then choose “Make a Payment.”

**Note that these programs are “self-supporting”. Per Florida Board of Governor Regulations 8.002, the term “self-supporting” describes a budgetary model and does not impact student financial aid eligibility.
