Heather Vick
Heather Vick worked for several environmental engineering firms in Gainesville, Boston and Seattle and taught geology at the community college level before completing her career as a Hydrogeologist 4 with the Washington State Department of Ecology. She has BS (’80) and MS (’86) degrees in geology from UF.
A few career highlights include characterizing groundwater contamination on 20 Superfund sites in US EPA Region 1; performing site characterizations for NOAA in the Pribilof Islands of Alaska; exploring potential water supply sites in Dubai and conducting aquifer testing for a copper mine in Panama.
She is now retired and lives in Seattle but remains licensed as a PG in Florida and as a geologist/hydrogeologist in Washington.
