Kristen Woods
Kristen Woods graduated with a M.S. degree in Igneous Petrology from The University of Georgia in 2010. She has spent the last 13 years as a Geologist in the mining industry, working for the Rio Tinto Resolution Copper project in Arizona, as well as DuPont / Chemours Titanium Technologies in NE Florida and SE Georgia. Kristen has a passion for ore mineralogy, long term mine planning, drilling, and project economic evaluations. She has 6 children, Addison, Luke, Jett, Keirstin, Meghan, and Jacey, along with a wonderful husband and co-worker, Jason, and a boxer (dog) named Bucky. In her “free” time, Kristen loves to volunteer in our local communities and educate around responsible mining and mineral usage in everyday life. She also enjoys visiting national parks, hiking, and SEC football!
