"Earth Surface Processes" by Evan Poirier

New Williamson Hall Art Exhibit

Faculty and students gathered on Thursday February 5, 2015 for the unveiling of a new art exhibit in Williamson Hall.
The panoramic painting by Evan Poirier (pictured) depicts landscapes from mountains to the ocean demonstrating “Earth’s Surface Processes” in soils, caves, mountains, rivers, wetlands, groundwater, estuaries, and the ocean. The artwork shows the nature of the research being done by departmental surface processes geologists. Adjacent is a digital display showing slides of our researchers working in the field.
The exhibit is located in the hallway on the 2nd floor of Williamson Hall, near the Outcrop of Honor.
